Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 30–33 weeks of pregnancy, when your bump is beautifully round but you’re still comfortable moving around. I recommend reaching out during your second trimester to reserve your spot—especially if you’ll need a weekend date, since those are limited and fill quickly.
Yes! My maternity Client Closet is filled with size-inclusive gowns, flowing fabrics, and accessories designed to flatter your growing bump. This means less stress shopping for outfits—you simply show up and I’ll help style you in a look that photographs beautifully.
Absolutely! The price is the same whether it’s just mom or the whole family. I actually encourage partners and siblings to join, as it’s such a meaningful way to capture your family’s connection during this special season of life.
All you need are the outfits you plan to wear—or let me know if you’d like to borrow gowns from my Client Closet! You may also want to bring makeup for touchups. For added flexibility with outfit changes, it’s helpful to have a black bra, nude bras (regular and strapless), and smooth nude underwear.
I offer both studio and outdoor sessions. My North Austin home studio is fully stocked with props, swaddles, backdrops, and a Client Closet for my maternity mommas. For outdoor maternity or family photos, we can head to some of my favorite scenic spots around Austin such as Brushy Creek Lake Park, Bull Creek, or Laguna Gloria.
The sweet spot for newborn photography is within the first 7-21 days after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and curly for those cozy, swaddled poses. However, I do photograph babies up to 5–6 weeks old and can adjust posing for older newborns.
Newborn sessions typically run 2.5–3 hours. A full newborn session can take up to 4 hours, while a newborn-only session can last up to 3 hours. This extra time allows for feeding, soothing, and breaks so the session feels calm and unhurried. I’ll guide everything while keeping your baby comfortable the entire time.
No worries at all—every baby has their own rhythm! I build plenty of time into each newborn session for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. With patience (and a few tricks up my sleeve), we’ll capture beautiful images no matter what kind of day your little one is having.
Absolutely! I offer a “Baby Only” package for those who want just the baby photographed, as well as a “Full Newborn” package which includes siblings and parents. This way, you can choose the option that best fits your family’s vision.
Just yourselves, the outfit you’d like to wear if you’ve booked the Full Newborn Session, and the diaper bag essentials—including bottles or mom if she’s breastfeeding! I’ll provide everything else baby needs, including all props, wraps, outfits, and backdrops. If you’d like to include a sentimental item (like a blanket, toy, or heirloom), feel free to bring it and I’ll be happy to incorporate it.
Yes! My “Bump to Baby” package includes both a maternity and newborn session at a bundled price. It’s a wonderful way to document your journey from pregnancy through your baby’s first weeks.
You’ll receive a proof gallery within 3 days of your session, where you can choose your favorite images. Final edited photos are delivered within 7 days of selection so you can enjoy them quickly.
Yes! Your proofs will be delivered in color, but once you’ve made your selections, the final edited images will be provided in both color and black & white at no additional cost.
I offer a variety of services and specialize in newborn, maternity, cake smash, and family photography.
Pricing varies depending on the type of session. You can view current rates on the Investment page of my website, or fill out my Inquiry Form and I’ll send you a detailed brochure with all pricing and package information.
Yes! I offer a maternity + newborn bundle that gives you 10% off both sessions when booked together. It’s the perfect way to capture your journey from bump to baby.
Texas weather can be unpredictable, but don’t worry—I always keep a backup plan in place. If the forecast looks rainy or stormy about 2 hours before our scheduled shoot time, we’ll either reschedule to another date or move the session into my North Austin studio. Your comfort and safety always come first, and I’ll make sure we still capture beautiful photos.
